At Heritage Chrysler Dodge Jeep® RAM Parkville, we believe in putting our customers’ needs first. We have an experienced and knowledgeable sales team here to help you find the car of your dreams. If you’re in the market for a family-friendly vehicle, we urge you to consider the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica. However, we know the Pacifica isn’t the only minivan available, but we do believe it far outshines the competition. To put our money where our mouth is, our Baltimore, MD Chrysler dealership created a head-to-head comparison of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and 2019 Honda Odyssey.

Performance

The 2019 Chrysler Pacifica features a 3.6-liter Pentastar® engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission as standard equipment. It renders 287 horsepower, to which the Honda Odyssey struggles to keep up with considering its output of 280 horsepower. Thanks to this extra power beneath the hood, the Pacifica boasts a maximum 3,600-lb towing capacity, whereas the Odyssey offers just a maximum 3,000-lb towing capacity.

Versatility

One of the most attractive qualities of a minivan is its caliber of versatility. While both vehicles offer impressive configuration abilities in the cabin, the Chrysler Pacifica near Towson, MD one-ups the Honda Odyssey. For starters, the Pacifica minivan’s second and third rows can fold flat into the floor, thanks to standard Stow ‘n Go®. Only the third-row seat in the 2019 Odyssey can be folded into the floor; the second row has to be removed completely to obtain a flat load floor.

This concludes our minivan comparison of the 2019 Chrysler Pacifica and 2019 Honda Odyssey—for now.
